This Spring, Climb For Memory’s Nelson Dellis will be returning to Mt. Everest – a climb that will be bigger, badder, and better than the last – to finish what he nearly finished back in 2011. He came within 280 vertical feet of the summit.
Why donate to us? We believe that raising awareness is the key to ending Alzheimer’s disease. Our approach is to create awareness-building events that are different, fascinating, and most of all, inspiring. We are the only charity bringing Alzheimer’s awareness to the top of the world (literally). By making a donation, you are helping increase awareness. Increasing awareness does two things: 1. It makes people more aware of their own brain health and inspires them to change their own lifestyles into a more positive, Alzheimer’s preventing direction. 2. It increases the amount of funds donated which in turn, goes towards Alzheimer’s disease research.
Where does your donation go? We work closely with the Alzheimer’s Association. The majority of your donation goes to them while a small percentage goes to Climb For Memory in order to defray the costs of our efforts to raise awareness.
